AFCON qualifiers: Black Stars depart for Madagascar ahead of Sunday’s clash

The team has been training in Accra for the past four days in preparation for the crucial qualifier against the Islanders.

The Black Stars will depart Accra for Antananarivo on Friday, June 16, 2023 for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.

Ghana need a win to book their ticket to the next Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire having won two and drawn the other two matches in the qualifiers.

Chris Hughton’s side are top of Group E with 8  points and a win would guarantee Ghana a place in next year’s tournament.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, 18 June , 2023.
