Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia has eulogised celebrated waakye seller Auntie Muni asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings.
Auntie Muni passed away on Wednesday (3 January) at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra after a short illness.
Reacting to the development on Facebook on Wednesday, Bawumia said “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him, we return.”
“I received the news of the death, this morning, of Aunty Muni, our nation’s famous Waakye seller.
My condolences to her family. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannah,” he added.
