COVID-19: Ghana’s active cases now 370

The country has started witnessing a marginal increase in active cases after the lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions in March this year

At least 62new coronavirus cases have been confirmed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) pushing the country’s active cases to 370.

The death toll still stands at 1445, for over two months now, an update on the GHS COVID-19 dashboard reveals.

As at 2 June, 2022, Ghana’s total confirmed cases stand at 161,795. Currently, health officials have recorded 159, 980 recoveries.

So far, no severe and critical cases have been reported for the past two months , according to GHS. Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 7,626 with 7,626 recoveries.
