Kwesi Ofori: I am a big fan of Celine Dion

Speaking in an interview with Benjamin Offei Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday, 21 July, DCOP (rtd) Ofori said he likes "cool music"

DCOP (rtd) Kwesi Ofori,  former director-general of the public affairs directorate of the Ghana Police has said that his favourite kind of music are “chill” songs.

He said Celine Dion is his favorite artiste in an interview with Benjamin Offei-Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday, 21 July.

“I like cool music. Talking about locally, I like Kojo Antwi, Pat Thomas and Daddy Lumba.”

Three decades of policing

He retired from active service on Wednesday 20 July 2022.

In order to honor the departing senior officer, the Ghana Police Service held a pull-out and farewell ceremony at the National Police Training School in Accra.

He formerly held several positions, including the of head of police operations at the Accra Regional Police Command, prior to his appointment as the director general of the police public affairs department.
