Dr Augustine Blay officially launches “Bawumia Nation” App

The launch, of the Bawumia Nation which was filled with fun yet educational activities, was attended by some dignitaries from the NPP

The Executive Secretary to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and head of the digital campaign team for the “Bawumia for President 2024 Campaign,” Dr Augustine Blay, officially launched the “Bawumia Nation” App on Friday, 27 September 2024 at the Athletic Oval of the University of Ghana.

“Bawumia Nation” App is a volunteer online mobilisation group to connect people who share similar interests of working collectively to get Dr Bawumia elected as President of Ghana in the 2024 general elections, making it feasible for everyone to play a role in the campaign, irrespective of their location.

The launch, which was filled with fun yet educational activities, was attended by some dignitaries from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), members of the Bawumia Nation, representatives and members of other NPP Volunteer Groups, as well as the general public.

Dr Augustine Blay, the founder of Bawumia Nation, also revealed the existence of the Bawumia Nation App, the first of its type among all NPP Volunteer Groups, and detailed how the App connects members and mobilises them to actively participate in the campaign.

“Be part of Bawumia Nation by downloading the App on either Google Play Store or Apple App Store, follow the prompts to sign in and create an account and profile.

“Recruit twelve people (who are referred to as citizens of Bawumia Nation, making you their Prefect) to join your network by encouraging them to download the App and enter your Member ID as their referral code as well as entreat them to also recruit their twelve people to become citizens of Bawumia Nation,” Blay said.

“From there the cycle continues, thereby expanding the Bawumia Nation network. You also stand a chance to win badges and tokens you can redeem as you help the network grow.

“Connect with other citizens, engage your friends any time and network with other people to campaign together to ensure that Dr Bawumia wins the upcoming election,” he added.
