Election 2024: Napo rallies Bono East communities to choose Bawumia for growth and development

Dr. Prempeh emphasized that the NPP is a party dedicated to cohesion, inclusion, and progress, and under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, Ghana will witness significant transformation.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice-presidential candidate, has called on the people of Kunsu, Kintampo, Abease, Prang, and Yeji in the Bono East Region to reconsider their long-standing voting trends by choosing the NPP in the upcoming December elections.

As part of his constituency-focused tour, Dr Opoku Prempeh, affectionately known as ‘Napo’, appealed to key stakeholders, including chiefs, queen mothers, Zongo leaders, and various identifiable groups across Kintampo North, Pru West, and Pru East constituencies to place their trust in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia by voting in his favour.

Dr Opoku Prempeh emphasised that the NPP is a party dedicated to cohesion, inclusion, and progress, and under the leadership of Dr. Bawumia, Ghana will witness significant transformation. He contrasted the NPP’s commitment to development with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) track record, stating that after years of voting for the NDC since 1992, the people have not seen the desired improvements in their communities.

He highlighted the achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led administration, which he believes has brought more development to the Bono East Region than the previous NDC governments. He urged the people to vote for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kintampo North, Isaac Baffoe, and Hon. Stephen Jalula, NPP’s candidate for Pru West, stating that their leadership will bring lasting development to the area.

Speaking in Abease and Prang in the Pru West Constituency, Dr Prempeh noted that the people are ready for an ‘upgrade’ by voting for Dr Bawumia and the NPP, who have proven their capability to drive the nation forward. He assured the constituents that voting for the NPP was the safest choice for their future and that Pru West would stand out as a constituency that supported Ghana’s progress.
