Environmental pollution: EPA to take action against state institutions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says it is determined to reduced clamp down on individuals and firms involved in environmental pollution in the country

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says it will soon crack the whip on state institutions that fail to comply with environmental safety standards.

Dr Kwabena Kokofu, executive director of the EPA said this will include putting before court non-compliant institutions.

Dr Kokofu was also addressing the launch of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies’ fifth safety week celebration in Accra

“…Very soon you’ll hear EPA taking on state institutions, putting them before the court to answer questions…”
