EPL: Kudus earns West Ham draw against Crystal Palace

Kudus had opened the scoring for the Hammers after 13 minutes but Odsonne Edouard's second-half finish salvaged a point for Crystal Palace at London Stadium

Mohammed Kudus scored his third goal in his only fifth start of the English Premier League season as West Ham United drew one all against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Odsonne Edouard’s second-half finish salvaged a point for Crystal Palace at London Stadium.

Kudus had opened the scoring for the Hammers after 13 minutes. He has now scored 5 goals in all competitions since arriving in the summer.

James Ward-Prowse’s sublime cross-field ball was collected by Vladimir Coufal, whose cutback into the box was converted thanks to a first-time finish from the onrushing Kudus.

Kudus was regularly troubling the Palace defense and he thought he had a second for the hosts just after the break but it was ruled out for offside with Tomas Soucek deemed to be interfering with play and in the eye-line of Johnstone.

Kudus’s compatriot Jordan Ayew, started and played full time. He skewed an effort well wide in the first half.
