The anti-galamsey operation in the Central and Ashanti Regions covered the Adaboa-Subin-Manso Nkwanta general areas; on and astride 100 metres along the River Offin; Adaboa-Obeng-Anwiankwanta and surrounding areas; and on and astride 100 metres along the River Oda.
Under Operation Halt II, the military have turned their attention to the Eastern Region, where 134 men of all ranks started an operation, beginning 16 May 2021, that will take them to Akim-Oda, Kade, Kibi, Anyinam and their surrounding areas along the River Birim.
