The Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu, will headline the eighth World Government Summit as a distinguished speaker in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The World Government Summit, which will take place from 29-30 March 2022, acts as an intellectual hub and catalyst for shaping a better future.
Bringing together decision-makers, thought leaders and experts from over 190 countries, the extraordinary gathering will celebrate the World Government Summits success as a unique platform for government leaders to engage in global discussions that will shape the future of humanity.
A letter of invitation to the Minority Leader signed by Omar Sultan Al Olama, the minister of state for artificial intelligence, digital economy and remote work in the UAE, described Iddrisu as a distinguished man whose rich experience and impact in politics will help advance the cause of the summit.
The Tamale South MP joins a list of distinguished world leaders, including some who have previously addressed the summit, such as the former president of the United States Barack Obama; Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India; the secretary general of the United Nations, António Guterres; the president of the European Union Central Bank, Christine Lagarde; the chairman of the World Economic Forum, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe; and the founder and chief executive officer of SpaceX, Elon Musk.
Omar Sultan al-Olama said Iddrisu’s participation will help expose a positive outlook on the future. “Your participation at this important event will be invaluable in strengthening our joint effort to advance global priorities and further provide global leaders working together to bring prosperity to their nations,” he said.
