Hearts of Oak paired with Algerian side JS Saoura in Confed Cup

The Phobians will be hoping to make amends in the Confederation Cup after dropping from the Champions League


Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak have been drawn against Algerian side JS Saoura in the playoff of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Hearts having dropped from the CAF Champions League entered in today’s draw which took place in Cairo with 32 other clubs on the continent.

The first leg of the fixture will be played between November 26-28 with Hearts playing home first, while the return leg is scheduled for December 3-5 in Algeria.

JS Saoura was formed in 2008 and currently play in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

Two seasons ago, they made the CAF Champions League alongside Al Ahly, Simba FC and Vita Club.

JS Saoura finished as runners up in 2016 and 2018, but regularly take part in the Caf Confederation Cup.
