I shall trumpet John Mahama’s achievements, says Korda

Korda has pledged to support Kpotosu and collaborate with the other candidates to reclaim power in the 2024 general elections

A parliamentary candidate, Raphael Kobla Korda, in the recent election primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ho Central Constituency says he will trumpet the achievements of John Mahama.

Korda polled 424 votes, losing the seat to Edem Kpotosu on 13 May.

In an address with the media on 20 May, Korda said although he lost in the primaries, he is happy that Mahama won the flagbearer race in the constituency.

He said, “As we reflect on the recent election… I lost [the primary election] but I am very happy his excellency John Dramani Mahama had 99.54% in my constituency, Ho Central. It is very important I express my gratitude for the incredible support and unwavering dedication that I have witnessed throughout my campaign period.”

The aspirant stated that he played a role in Mahama’s victory in Ho. He said, “My team, followers and I were dedicated in my campaign and that of John Dramani Mahama (JDM). This contributed to the good results for JDM.

“Furthermore, I promise never to relent. I will continue advocating and trumpeting John Mahama’s achievements and the mega projects he started before leaving power. These are breaking down day in day out under this government led by “Akpefu Adu” [Akufo-0Addo].”

Korda has pledged to support Kpotosu and collaborate with the other candidates to reclaim power in the 2024 general elections.

He said, “…. I am still poised to contribute to deliver the 100,000 votes in Ho Central for JDM.”
