Adjetey Sowah, a former world dance champion says he started building as a teenager after his dancing career took off.
Sowah came to the limelight at a very young age when he became the first Ghanaian to win a world dance championship in 1986.
Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Wednesday (19 July), Sowah said although he did not take his education seriously, he has been able to manage fame well.
“I used to dance all over around Circle [Kwame Nkrumah Circle], King Solomon, Mamprobi, Apollo Theatre, Tip Toe Night club. Dancing competition was everywhere and I started making money around it, that is the reason why I didn’t take my education serious.”
“I started building as well at the age of 19-years, because the money was coming and I didnt know what to do with it,, and my father advised me to do something,” Sowah said.
