I’m not part of NPP’s manifesto committee, says Okyeame Kwame

Earlier reports suggested that Okyeame Kwame was one of the fifteen people who were named as members of the New Patriotic Party’s manifesto committee for tourism, arts and culture

Renowned Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame, has said he is not part of the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party’s campaign team.

Earlier reports suggested Okyeame Kwame was one of the fifteen people who were named as members of the New Patriotic Party’s manifesto ommittee for tourism, arts and culture.

However, a statement issued by Okyeame Kwame on Saturday (24 February) said he is apolitical.

“I wish to reassure my respected following and reiterate that I remain non-partisan and apolitical, as I have been throughout my entire career. I have not been paid by the vice-president’s campaign team to be a member of the committee for the arts and tourism manifesto nor have I officially been invited on my terms as non-partisan participant,” he said.
