Kumasi: Fire guts Railways Police Station

Fire broke out at the Railways Police Station at Adum in Kumasi (Ashanti Region), on Wednesday, an official statement from the Ghana Police Service has confirmed.

The statement said the Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly, collaborating closely with local police personnel, and had been declared under control.

The police said there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the fire.

However, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

“Further developments will be communicated as they arise,” the police statement added without indicating when investigations will commence into the incident.
