Mahama to visit Buem on 16 April

It is expected that the visit will rally the support of the constituents for Mahama at the primaries and the general elections

Former President John Dramani Mahama is set to visit the Buem Constituency on Sunday 16 April, as part of his campaign to win the flagbearer race and lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to victory in 2024.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency, Kofi Iddie Adams, has confirmed that all preparations for the former president’s visit have been made to ensure a successful event.

The mini-rally will take place at the Togbe Akortia hall, in Bueman Senior High School in Jasikan-Buem at 12:30pm. Adams is optimistic that victory will be his and Mahama’s on 13 May. Both candidates are number one on their respective ballot papers.

The MP has emphasised that Mahama is the only candidate capable of winning power for the NDC in December 2024.

He said it is evident that Mahama’s visit is an essential step towards achieving his goal. It will be an opportunity for his followers to interact with and encourage him.

It is expected that the visit will rally the support of the constituents for Mahama at the primaries and the general elections.
