McDan Aviation suspended from using private jet terminal

GACL ordered McDan Aviation to suspend the inauguration of the private jet terminal due to security and safety concerns

McDan Aviation’s newly launched private jet terminal has been shut down by the Ghana Airports Company Limited after the company reportedly ignored a directive by the management of GACL to postpone the inauguration of the terminal.

Earlier, the management of GACL ordered McDan Aviation to suspend the planned launch of the private jet terminal due to security and safety concerns.

A letter signed by Yaw Kwakwa, managing director of GACL, said “we note with concern, your failure to comply with the directive despite the outstanding issues on the prior terms and conditions for the use and operations of Terminal 1 as a Private Jet Terminal.

“Management has subsequently directed the suspension of your use of Terminal 1 until further notice.”
