Some persons believed to be supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have allegedly attacked Ghanaian filmmaker Socrates Safo and Halifax Ansah-Addo, the editor of the Publisher newspaper with knives in Winneba in the Central Region.
In a terse statement on Facebook on Tuesday (1 October), Safo said the attackers vandalised their car in the process.
”NDC supporters just attacked me and Ansah-Addo Halifax with knives and vandalised our car at Winneba for God knows what,” Safo posted on Facebook.
Report suggests the two were on their way for an assignment in Winneba when the incident occurred.
