The National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency chairman for Daboya-Mankarigu in the Savannah Region and 10 other executives have been suspended.
Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed Murtala and 10 polling station and zonal executives were suspended due to what the party termed “gross misconduct during the 2020 general elections.”
“The constituency executive committee of the NDC in Daboya/Mankarigu has suspended with immediate effect some executives of the party following their anti-party activities and conduct during the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections,” the letter said.

SUSPENSION OF SOME PARTY EXECUTIVES
The Constituency Executive Committee of the NDC in Daboya/Mankarigu constituency has suspended with immediate effect some executives of the party following their anti-party activities and conduct during the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The decision was taken pursuant to Article 40 of the party’s constitution at a meeting held on January 2nd, 2021, following reports and petition from some members of the party.
The said individuals have therefore been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the party in accordance with the constitution of the party.
They include:

Branch Communication Officer
Thomas Bahie Forgtah,
Branch Secretary
Mohammed Alidu,
Branch Organizer
Attah Hardi,
Branch Communication Officer.
Their membership of the party has been suspended with immediate effect pending the hearing and final determination by the Disciplinary Committee.
