The Ghana Police Service says it has deployed its forensic team and ballistic experts to Nkoranza to assist in the investigation of the alleged killing of Albert Donkor by some cops.
Donkor was picked up at his mother’s residence at Kasadjan in the Nkoranza Municipality by the police on 25 April on suspicion of being involved in a robbery operation on the Nkoranza-Kintampo road.
One person was shot, while five others are receiving medical attention after irate youth in the area attacked the police on Tuesday to demand for justice over the alleged killing
However a statement issued by the police on Sunday(22 May) says calm has been restored in the area adding that all those who sustained various injurious are now in stable condition
Ít however warned those capitalising on the crisis for their personal interest to desist from the practice
