NPP postpones Akuapim South parliamentary primary

According to the NPP, the postponement aims to ensure comprehensive consultations and address concerns raised in AKuapim South

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has postponed the parliamentary primary in Akuapim South initially scheduled for Saturday (27 January).

A statement signed by the general secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong, said “This decision is in response to petitions received, accompanied by recommendations from both the constituency executive committee and the regional executive committee.”

“The postponement aims to ensure comprehensive consultations and address concerns raised,” the statement added.

Earlier, the incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency withdraw from the race.
