The Office of the Special Prosecutor has concluded investigations into allegations of corruption against the former executive secretary of the dissolved inter-ministerial committee on illegal mining (IMCIM), Charles Bissue and other high profile suspected corruption cases.
Others are, investigations into allegation of corruption against a former Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance, Charles Adu Boahen and an attempt by a wealthy businessman to bribe some MPs on the Majority side who called for the resignation of the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, to rescind their decision.
This is contained in the OSP half yearly report on cases and activities undertaken by the office between 1 January 2023 and 30 June 2023.
In a statement on Tuesday (4 July), the OSP said it will issue directives and further action on the matter in due course.
