Oti Region: 35-year-old man found dead in a pit

Two weeks ago, the family of the deceased lodged a missing person’s complaint at the police station, and after days of investigations, the body was discovered by the police

Bijadom Daniel, a 35-year-old local contractor, has been found dead in a pit at Nkwanta South in the Oti Region, two weeks after being reported missing by his family.

The police discovered the body after days of search.

The father of the deceased, Kwame Raphael, told the media he suspects foul play.

Raphael has appealed to the police to investigate and bring the suspects to justice.

The residents are still in a state of shock following the incident, saying they do not know who will be the next target.

Meanwhile, the police are yet to commence investigation into the case. No arrests have also been made.
