The Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, has participated in the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of Ahmadiyya Mission in Ghana, as well as the Mission’s 91st Annual Convention at Pomadze in the Central Region.

Sharing the news on Facebook on Thursday (22 February) Bawumia commended for contributing to Ghana’s socio-economic development.

“This morning, I joined the Ameer and Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, and the Ahmadiyya fraternity, in Pomadzie, Central Region, for the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of Ahmadiyya Mission in Ghana, as well as the Mission’s 91st Annual Convention.

“Since its establishment in the then Gold Coast, the Ahmadiyya Mission has contributed immensely to the development of Ghana, in many spheres, especially in health, education, peace-building, good governance and advancing good morals.”

“With 7 hospitals and 315 educational institutions to their credit, the Mission’s contribition to expanding access to education is truly remarkable, and I commended them for their effort, which is in line with our government’s vision of providing free inclusive access to secondary education,” Bawumia said.
