In the event that there are more than 5 applicants, the party will hold a “Special Electoral College Elections” (Super Delegates Conference) on 26 August 2023.

The National Congress to elect a flagbearer will afterward be held on 4 November 2023.

Parliamentary primaries

In the same release, the NPP also indicated that nominations for parliamentary primaries in orphan constituencies will open on 16 June 2023 and close on 14 July 2023. The elections will subsequently be held form Tuesday 1 August to Saturday 2 December 2023.

On constituencies where the party has sitting members of Parliament, the NPP says it will open nominations on Wednesday 20 December 2023 and close same on Thursday 4 January 2024. The elections will then be held on Saturday 24 February 2024.

Tipped to win
