Sarkodie is best rapper in Africa, says B4Bonah

B4Bonah says Ghanaians should appreciate their own first before praising others

Talented Ghanaian rapper and songwriter B4Bonah has said that Ghanaians must appreciate its skilled artists who are putting the country on the international map.

Speaking on Asaase Café with Caroline Sampson, B4Bonah said, “All I can say is [that] music originates from here, everywhere you’ll go you’ll hear a touch of Ghanaian sound in their music.”

He said that Ghanaian rapper “Sarkodie is doing his thing, and he’s so big.”

B4Bonah described The Landlord as “the best rapper in Africa.”

“We will get to the stage of our fellow counterparts like Davido, Burna Boy and the rest. We have Black Sherif, Amarae, Camidoh all these kids, everybody doing the best they can.

“If our people will put their eyes on the ground and be vigilant, they’ll know our artists are working,” he said.

Comeback song

B4Bonah took a break from the music scene in 2020 after his disturbing photo hit online. The Afrobeat singer is known for his hit single, Dear God, which got him an award at the VGMAs.

He has announced a return with a beautiful masterpiece record titled “Gbɛnzɛ”.

“I played my songs for a couple of people and this was the song [Gbɛnzɛ] they all voted for me to release first,” B4Bonah said.
