According to Kinaata, the Asantehene’s mention has greatly increased both his social media following and revenue streams

Ghanaian artist Kofi Kinaata has expressed gratitude to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for acknowledging his talents and causing his social media engagements and streams to increase.

According to Kinaata, the Asantehene’s mention has greatly increased both his social media following and revenue streams.

Following Asantehene’s commendation, the rapper has been quite enthusiastic on social media and has posted often to celebrate this significant accomplishment.

In a social media post, he praised Asantehene for shining a spotlight on him, saying, “By mentioning my name, every number has increased, streams, views, and social media engagement. Opemso) medaase. Piaaww”

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II acknowledged the award-winning highlife musician Kofi Kinaata‘s hit song, “Susuka,” during his address at this year’s Ghana Bar Association’s General Conference in Kumasi.

During his speech, the Asantehene used the song’s phrase “Obi nya way3” to emphasise the importance of embracing and appreciating Ghana’s unique identity, as well as what other African countries lack.
