Nadi Imoro Sanda, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) in the Upper West Region, has confidently set his sights on securing the parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
After filing his nomination, he expressed a renewed commitment to the development of the district and the strategic approach his campaign will take to win the election.
Reflecting on his previous electoral experience in 2020, where he lost, Sanda acknowledged the lessons learnt from that defeat. “I’ve taken the time to understand where things went wrong in the last election. This time, I’m equipped with the knowledge and strategy needed to succeed,” he said in an interview with Asaase News.
Nadi Imoro Sanda, who doubles as the DCE for the DBI district, emphasised the importance of a strong and united campaign team, stating that their immediate focus would be on mobilising support across all polling stations.
“What is left now is to hit the ground running with the campaign. Unity is key, and together with my team, we’ll be reaching out to every voter to ensure our message is heard,” he added.
One of the cornerstones of Sanda’s campaign is his commitment to education and development within the DBI constituency. He highlighted the need for a tertiary institution in the district, which he believes will significantly boost both educational opportunities and economic activities.
“DBI deserves a tertiary institution. It’s not just about education; it’s about creating opportunities and reducing the burden on parents who have to send their children elsewhere for higher education,” he explained.
Sanda also addressed concerns raised about voter registration issues, assuring constituents that he had not encountered any irregularities and urging them to have confidence in the electoral process.
He expressed his belief that voters would choose him as their representative in Parliament, to allow him to deliver the much-needed development the district requires.
