Van Vicker explains why he didn’t feature in Lil Win’s “A Country Called Ghana” movie

According to the actor, he said he could not agree with the producers on the number of days he would shoot his scenes in the movie

Actor Van Vicker discussed why he was not featured in Lilwin’s movie, A Country Called Ghana”.

Unlike the information that was put out there about the actor rejecting the offer, he said he could not agree with the producers on the number of days he would shoot his scenes in the movie.

Van Vicker opened up in an interview with Kumasi-based Hello FM.

“As a matter of fact, Frank Garbin called me and said he wants me to play the role Ramsey played in that movie. So I wanted to know when we were shooting because I was in school. He got back and said the producer says they needed me for one month.”

“I said one month is too much. What are we filming? You should know that with actors, the more days you require, the more fees I will charge so the earlier you finish, the better. So you need me for one month; are you sure you can pay me for one full month? So I told him that for one month I can’t do the work because I’m in school,” he said

“I told him what I could do was ten days, and if he could do ten days, then I would do the work. Later, he said the ten days won’t work. Can you believe that later I saw that Ramsey came to do the work? I was tracking the job and can you believe Ramsey used ten days to do the job?”

Vicker added, “I didn’t say I wasn’t going to do the work at all. I gave a counter-proposal. Even if he had come to negotiate an improvement on the days he could have reached an agreement, the person they brought also did 10 days,” he said.
