Why I stopped worshipping at Rev Owusu Bempah’s church

His bitterness, particularly because he was arrested for his wrongdoings-like attacking a woman with a gun as a pastor-is uncalled for

I used to be a strong supporter and follower of Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, frequently listening to his online preaching and even visiting his church at Odorkor Busuah Junction to worship in person.

I believed in him and his prophecies.

However, recently, as a man of God, his constant negative comments about certain personalities, especially the current Inspector General of Police, IGP, Dr. Dampare, and this government, have become excessive.

His remarks against the IGP, along with his calls for the president to remove him, seem misguided, particularly given that there are laws governing the appointment of high-profile officials in this country.

The question is, who is he to instruct the president to sack someone simply because he was not allowed to break the law?

He needs to understand that the more he attacks and spreads falsehoods about the IGP, the more irrelevant he becomes. As someone who used to attend his church, his recent baseless accusations have caused me to distance myself. Many of my friends have also stopped attending his services for the same reasons.

His bitterness, particularly because he was arrested for his wrongdoings—like attacking a woman with a gun as a pastor—is uncalled for. He should know better and set a good example for his church members.
