Wilmar Africa Limited, producers of Frytol cooking oil, on Friday launched a four monthly promotion dubbed “wholesalers vacation papabi” to reward its loyal customers.
The promo which runs from January to April aims at rewarding the contribution of wholesalers with shopping vouchers and an all-expense-paid trip abroad.
Speaking at the launch, Patrick Sarpong, head of trade marketing noted that the company values the importance of wholesalers and decided to encourage them, especially in these difficult times.
According to him, every wholesaler who deals in Frytol vegetable cooking oil, sunflower oil and fortune rice is qualified to join the promo.
Wholesalers, he explained, ought to purchase products between 400, 900 and 1950 cartons of food products from Wilmar.
He said: “We have three categories- we will give shopping vouchers for anyone who can buy a minimum of 400 cartons, the second category with 900 cartons purchases we will give you shopping vouchers. In the last category with 1,950 cartons purchases, we will give you shopping vouchers every month.
“We are looking at two million worth of shopping vouchers every month for the next four months, we will then select the top wholesalers across the country to participate in this vacation.”
He said the launch of the promo would also enable the company to increase its sales for wholesalers and retailers as well.
