Africa Paralympics Committee handing over ceremony to be held in Ghana

The newly-elected president of the Africa Paralympics Committee, Samson Deen has revealed the handing over ceremony which will see him officially take over the running of the African body will take place in Ghana.

 President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to host the handing over ceremonyset to take place this month.

Mr. Deen, chairman of the National Paralympics Committee was voted as the new Africa Paralympics Committee chairman last weekend during the General Assembly in Rabat, Morocco.

He is taking over from Mr. Leonel Da Rocha Pinto from Angola who served for 30 years.

President of the International Paralympic Committee, Mr. Andrew Parsons is expected to grace the occasion.
