EURO 2024 Play-offs: Wales to face Finland in semis, winner to host final against Poland or Estonia

Wales have discovered their Euro 2024 play-off fate after the draw was made on Thursday. Rob Page's side will take on Finland in Cardiff for a place in the final, and if they make it through they will be at home against either Poland or Estonia. The ties will take place in March 2024 as Wales look to reach a third consecutive European Championship.

Wales will host Finland in the semi-final of the Euro 2024 play-offs in Cardiff in March following Thursday’s draw.

If Wales win, they will play the winners of Poland’s play-off against Estonia for a place in next summer’s finals.

Rob Page’s side have secured home advantage for both matches, should they progress, with the draw pitting them against Finland in Path A.

Automatic qualification eluded Wales following a 1-1 draw with Turkey on Tuesday, combined with Croatia’s 1-0 victory over Armenia.

Iceland and Ukraine have been drawn into Path B, where they will take on Israel and Bosnia and Herzegovina respectively.

The lineup for path C is Georgia versus Luxembourg and Greece against Kazakhstan.

All the  will be played on Thursday, March 21, 2024. The three finals will then take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

Hosts Germany will feature in the curtain-raising game of Euro 2024 in Group A on June 14, 2024, in Munich.
The group stage runs from June 14-26, while the knockout stage is from June 29-July 14 when the final takes place in Berlin.
