Asaase Radio to air Ghanaian drama series ‘LEAKED’ from October
The drama series by media personality Jay Foley tackles head-on the conversation around rape and its effects on victims
Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd will from next month air Ghanaian drama series ‘LEAKED , founder of Radio Advertising People Ltd Jay Foley has said.
The series tackles head-on the conversation around rape and its effects on victims. It tells the story of Maame, a level 300 student who narrates her ordeal when her roommate and best friend team up with others to blackmail her over her nude photos.
The story worsens when she gets entangled in a relationship with her roommate’s boyfriend.
Speaking on Asaase Breakfast Show on Thursday (28 September), Jay Foley said he is excited about the move, adding that the airing of the series will start from next week.
“I want to say good morning to Asaase Radio CEO George Andah…, I did air clips of LEAD and then he requested that we have a conversation on it and go nationwide with airing of LEAD on Asaase Radio and all its partner stations across the country, soon to start sometime next week,” he said.
