At least eight more persons have died of COVID-19 taking Ghana’s death toll to 1,174 , the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said.
The country’s active cases have also dropped marginally to 1,709 after 69 new coronavirus cases were confirmed at the laboratories.
As at 27 October 2021, the GHS reports that the country’s total confirmed cases increased to 130, 287, out of which 127, 396 have recovered.
So far, 35 cases have been classified as severe while 11 remain critical, according to GHS.
Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 2,896 with 2,784 recoveries so far.
Vaccination
So far 3,102,396 persons have been vaccinated across the country as at 1 November 2021, the Ghana Health Service said.
