An on-duty police officer has allegedly shot himself to death on Wednesday (27 April) at the Graphic Road, Abossey Okai in Accra, an official statement said.
The police said they have initiated investigations into the incident.
“In line with our standard operating procedure, the name and further details of the deceased officer have been withheld and will be communicated after his family has been formally notified of the incident,” the statement added.
