Gary Nimako Marfo supports family of late ex-wife with 100K for funeral rites

Nimako Marfo’s late wife, Tracey Maame Ama Boateng, died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness

The managing partner at Marfo & Associates and director of legal affairs for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gary Nimako Marfo, has made a modest contribution of GHC100,000 to the family of his late former wife, Tracey Maame Ama Boateng, with whom he had four children.

The late Tracey Maame Ama Boateng died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness. A burial service and the final funeral rites for the deceased will be held on Thursday 20 July 2023 at the Transitions Funeral Home in Haatso.

A thanksgiving service will subsequently be held on Sunday, 23 July 2023, at the Gospel Light International Church at Dansoman near the “keep fit” roundabout.

Gary Nimako, led by Justice Yonny Kulendi, a Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Adjei Frimpong, a Justice of the Court of Appeal, and in the company of his father, Joseph Nimako, his mother, Mary Adwoa Ode Nimako, and son King Gary Nimako Jr, called on the mother of the late Tracey Maame Ama Boateng, Afua Agyeiwaa, and her family to commiserate with them and to offer his financial support to the family.

Gary Nimako Marfo, in an off-the-record interview with Asaase News, said he will do everything within his power to honour the mother of his four children, regardless of the challenges of the past which led to their separation.

The late Tracey Maame Ama Boateng is survived by four children – Vanessa Marfo, King Gary Nimako Marfo Jr., Kayla Marfo and Nana Hemaa Marfo.
