GIPC boss: Brazil must take advantage of opportunities in Ghana’s poultry sector

Yoofi Grant made the call when he made a presentation on investment opportunities in Ghana on Tuesday (21 March) at Ghana-Brazil Business Forum in Brazil

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has urged Brazilian investors to take advantage of the prevailing good business climate and venture into the poultry sector in Ghana.

GIPC boss said Brazil can set up poultry factories in the country to serve the rest of the African continent.

Yoofi Grant made the call when he made a presentation on investment opportunities in Ghana on Tuesday (21 March) at Ghana-Brazil Business Forum in Brazil as part of the GIPC’s Investment Promotion Mission to Latin America.

“One of the important sectors where we are looking out for growth is the poultry industry because almost all the chicken in Ghana comes from Brazil.”

“But we think it makes a better sense that you come to Ghana to actually set up a poultry farm because then you also have access to the African market, not just Ghana, there is a bigger market,” Grant said.
