Nationwide Medical Insurance donates to GIS to celebrate 20th anniversary

Nationwide Medical Insurance has donated a variety of equipment to Ghana International School (GIS) for being their first client since their inception

Nationwide Medical Insurance, a private commercial health insurance company has marked its 20th anniversary with a donation to the Ghana International School, the first client it signed two decades ago.

The theme for the 20th-year celebration of Nationwide Medical Insurance is “Celebrating our clients”.

Nana Awua Darko Ampem II, the executive chairman of Nationwide Medical Insurance said, “Ghana International School happens to be the first client of Nationwide [Medical Insurance] and they have been with us for 20 years and in light with celebrating our clients we are celebrating GIS as our foundation clients.”

The company has a long history of supporting local schools and organisations, and this latest donation is just one example of its commitment to making a positive impact.

Frank Amponsah-Mensah the principal of GIS also noted that it is a joy to work with Nationwide Medical Insurance as they provide total healthcare and top-notch services each day.

“We are very happy that we’ve been with Nationwide for so long. I was to speaking to the Chairman earlier and I was not aware that we were actually their first client.”

“I was only aware that we were one of the early clients but now he’s telling me that we were the first client. And I must say that we’ve worked with them for a long time and so far we are happy with their service. Twenty years is a long time and we are looking forward to the next 20 years.”

The donation to the Ghana International School is just one of many ways in which Nationwide Medical Insurance is giving back to the community as part of their 20th-anniversary celebrations.
