Navrongo NDC to supporters: Let’s set aside differences and build a united front

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said a united front was crucial, particularly in winning the presidential and parliamentary elections

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Navrongo Central constituency of the Upper East Region has urged its members to heal all cracks that may have been caused by the recently held primaries to restore peace and harmony and build a formidable fraternity.

The party said a united front was crucial, particularly in winning the presidential and parliamentary elections, and to be able to champion the development and secure a brighter future for Navrongo.

In a statement to thank the rank and file of the party in the constituency for the successful conduct of its recent presidential and parliamentary primaries, the constituency scribe, Adafula Aiden appealed to the party faithful to set aside any such differences and channel collective energy into fostering an inclusive, healthy environment.

Adafula intimated that the cracks if allowed to fester, could be recipes to diminish the growth and fortunes of the party in elections 2024.

He noted that it was only through unity, collaboration, and mutual support that the party would be able to achieve progress and the much-needed transformation for the constituency.

“Now, more than ever, it is imperative that we come together as one united front, setting aside any differences or divisions that may exist. Our strength lies in our unity, and only through collaboration and mutual support can we achieve the progress and transformation our constituency deserves.

Let us channel our collective energy into fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and respected. Together, we can build bridges, strengthen alliances, and work tirelessly to address the needs and aspirations of our constituents,” Adafula appealed.

Adafula, in the statement, also expressed appreciation party elders, branch and constituency executives, and the aspirants in the parliamentary primary and their supporters, for showcasing dedication and sacrifice throughout the primary election period, which he noted was a demonstration of commitment to the democratic credentials, values and principles of the party.

He further urged the party faithful to continue to contribute their unflinching skills, knowledge, and commitment toward the growth of the National Democratic Congress.

“As we embark on this journey towards retaining the seat in 2024, we call upon each and every one of you to continue contributing your skills, knowledge, and passion towards the success of our party. Let us remain focused, determined, and unwavering in our commitment to the values and principles that define us.

“We believe that the contest brought out the best in all of you, and your commitment to the party’s principles has undoubtedly strengthened our unity.”

“Your hard work, determination, and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed. The countless hours spent organizing campaigns, mobilizing resources, and rallying supporters have showcased your deep-rooted commitment to the ideals and principles of our great party. Your resilience and steadfastness in the face of challenges are truly commendable, ” he commended.
