President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday (26 February) joined the Gonja Kingdom, for the seventh day funeral rites of the overlord of Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Professor Tuntunba Bor-esa l.
The king passed on at the Jakpa palace in Damongo in the early hours of Sunday 5 February 2023 after a short illness.
The president was accompanied by some dignitaries including Samuel Abu Jinapor, the MP for Damongo and general secretary of the NPP Justin Kodua Frimpong.
