Grace Amezando, the victim of an acid attack, is appealing to the public for support to undergo corrective surgery to save her eyesight.

Asaaseradio.com yesterday reported on the sentencing of a commercial driver, Bright Boso, to ten years in prison with hard labour after he attacked his lover, Grace Amezando, with an acid.

Amezando turned 25 on 3 May 2022. She is now sole carer to three young children, including her two children by Bright Boso.

She needs GHC60,000 for corrective surgery, GHC6,000 of this urgently to save her eyesight.

Speaking with Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on The Asaase Breakfast Show on Friday (6 May), Amenzando said she has forgiven Boso and needs support to return to normal life.
