REPEAT: Akufo-Addo presents State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament

The president used the opportunity of the SONA to inform the nation about the state of the country and plans he intends to implement

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday (27 February)  the 2024 State of the Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament.

This is in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 constitution, which stipulates that the president shall deliver a message on the State of the Nation to Parliament at the start of each session and before the dissolution of Parliament.

The address highlighted the government’s key policy objectives for the year, as well as provided information on the current government position in addressing current economic conditions.
