Celebrated master of ceremony (MC) Kabutey Ocansey, popularly known as Kabutey My MC has revealed that six people booked him for MCing after his first job.
Kabutey Who has MCed over 1,300 events in 12 years believes a master of ceremony must not necessarily be funny to be a good MC.
Speaking to Naa Ashorkor on the Between Hours show on Asaase 99.5 Accra Tuesday (20 June), Kabutey said finding an avenue to connect with the audience at an event is what makes a good MC.
“My journey as an MC up to date surprises me. It’s been amazing. I get into character as soon as I change my clothes into what the character is supposed to wear,” he said.
