Yuletide: Ralph Poku-Adusei donates food items to over 400 homes in Bekwai

A legal practitioner and indigene of Bekwai, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has donated food items to over 400 households

A legal practitioner and indigene of the Bekwai constituency in the Ashanti Region, Ralph Poku-Adusei, has donated food items to over 400 households in Bekwai and neighbouring towns to mark the Christmas celebrations.

Christians all over the world have been celebrating Christmas (the birth of Jesus Christ) as we prepare to usher in the new year, 2022. The donation, the legal practitioner said, is his widow’s mite to support his people to celebrate the season.

Presenting the gifts to heads of households, Poku-Adusei said he deems it a great privilege to be of service to the people of Bekwai. He added that he is eternally grateful to God for His protection throughout the year 2021.

He was hopeful that by celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in Bekwai, the Almighty God will help Ghana out of the COVID-19 crisis in which it finds itself.

Among the items distributed to local people were bags of rice, oil and sardines.

“I am committed to partnering with the people of Bekwai to ensure that we work together to develop the standard of living in our communities and in Bekwai as a whole,” Lawyer Poku-Adusei said.

“Please accept this little token as you celebrate Christmas. With God’s blessings, many more will follow,” he said.
