All emoluments due Mahama paid, says NPP

John Mahama claimed in an interview on September 13 that the government had denied him the right to receive free utilities and other benefits to which he was entitled

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denied claims by former President John Mahama that the current government has denied him his benefits.

He also claimed that the government denied him the privilege of enjoying free utilities among others to which he is entitled to.

At a press briefing in Accra, the NPP’s director of communications, Richard Ahiagbah, said the former President has not been sincere with Ghanaians.

“The former president has told blatant lies. We have assembled relevant documents that prove that the former President lied and that, contrary to his claims, he has been indeed been enjoying privileges due him.”

“We did not want to share these private documents with the public, but they are already out there, so we will share them.”
