Drive to Inspire embarks on outreach programme in Cape Coast

Volunteers in the areas of medicine, media, maritime, healthcare, entrepreneurship and law joined the DTI team to interact with students from Efutu Senior High Technical School and Oguaa Senior High Technical School

Drive to Inspire (DTI) has embarked on an outreach programme at two senior high schools in Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Volunteers in the areas of medicine, media, maritime, healthcare, entrepreneurship and law joined the DTI team to interact with students from Efutu Senior High Technical School and Oguaa Senior High Technical School.

The DTI teams were also joined by representatives from the African Centre for Technical Training (ACTT), who provided students with insights into what to do if they had dreams of becoming artisans.

Personnel from the Ghana Health Service also gave a talk and interacted with students during the Adolescent Health Segment of the outreach.

The outreach ended with a breakout session, during which everyone on the team interacted with students in smaller groups, sharing their journeys, listening to the students, and providing answers to their questions.

Volunteers on the day include Stanley Amarteifio , Emmanuel Owusu-Tuffour, Barry Musah, Vanessa Apea , Monicia Boahen, Bismark Acheampong, Penelope Brooke Thompson and Denzel Boakye.

DTI-A

Drive to Inspire Africa is a non-governmental organisation that seeks to inspire and mentor teenagers and young adults especially girls between the ages of 13 and 25, to get them to aim high, while assisting them with opportunities that allow them to reach their potential and become real assets to their homes, communities, and countries.

DTI-A is a company limited by guarantee, registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ghana, under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) and licensed and regulated by the Non-Profit Organisation Secretariat, Ghana.

Drive to Inspire -Africa is committed to the safe schools programme initiated by the Ghana Education Service.

The goal of Drive to Inspire – Africa is to run an organisation that is accountable to its donors, sponsors, regulators, stakeholders, and community, relentless in its efforts to achieving its mission and compassionate in its dealings with its beneficiaries.
