Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is on a three-day working visit to the Republic of Estonia from Wednesday, 24 January to 27 January 2024.
Estonia being one of the most advanced digitalised countries, Vice-President Bawumia will use the visit to examine that country’s digital economy vis-a-vis Ghana’s.
A statement signed by the spokesperson, Gideon Boako said the vice-president would hold bilateral meetings with the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, the undersecretary for Digital Transformation and Government CIO at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digitalisation, Luukas Ilves, and the director general of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board, Raigo Uukkivi.
Vice-President Bawumia would return to Ghana on Saturday, 27 January 2024.
