Bawumia will be Ghana’s next president, says Mustapha Ussif

The Minister of Youth and Sports said Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will become Ghana's next president on 7 January 2025

The Member of Parliament for the Yagaba-Kubori constituency and Minister responsible for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has stated that the vice president, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will be Ghana’s next president.

Mustapha Ussif made this high prediction to Ghanaians when he was addressing delegates in his constituency at the Yagaba Senior High Technical School on Saturday (27 January 2024).

He was endorsed as the parliamentary candidate for the upcoming elections in December.

“The gap we had in 2020, our vision and our object is to ensure that we increase the gap drastically and make sure that we give both the presidential and the parliamentary election a very wide gap in 2024, Insha Allah.”

According to him, “There is no doubt that Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia is going to be the president of the republic come 7 January 2025.”

“We are going to work across the country. Across Greater Accra all the way to Bawku and from the Western North all the way to Oti. We will work around the clock and make sure that we work to ensure that Dr Alhaji Bawumia is the president of the Republic come 7 January 2025.” he said.

The minister also assured the constituents that the Yagaba-Kubori seat will forever be in the hands of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and that it will be difficult for the NDC to win the seat.
