Ralph Poku-Adusei supports NPP polling station executives in Bekwai with Christmas/New Year packages

The package included a bag of 5kg rice, 1 litre sunflower oil, a tin of mackerel and sardine, and a cash amount of three hundred Ghana cedis

New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate hopeful for the Bekwai constituency in the Ashanti Region, Ralph Poku-Adusei has presented a Christmas and New Year package to all polling station executives of the NPP in the constituency.

The package included a bag of 5kg rice, 1 litre sunflower oil, a tin of mackerel and sardine, and a cash amount of three hundred Ghana cedis (GHc 300.00) to each polling station executive. Ralph Poku-Adusei says he considers the presentation of these items as a social duty that he will remain committed to year after year.

Reacting to what has become an annual ritual, several of the polling station executives who received the gifts expressed their gratitude to the private legal practitioner, and Bekwai indigene Ralph Poku-Adusei for his unwavering support to all party officers, including polling station executives in Bekwai.

“Lawyer Ralph has shown that apart from his ambition to represent Bekwai constituency in Parliament from January 2025, he truly and genuinely cares about the NPP grassroots in Bekwai. We will show him the same love he has extended to us,” one of the polling station executives said after receiving his package.

“The level of dedication and commitment my younger brother, Lawyer Ralph as we like to call him, has demonstrated to us back home here in Bekwai is humbling. We will forever remain grateful to him. We ask for God’s blessings on him, his family, and all his ambitions,” another female polling station executive said.

Ralph Poku-Adusei, a prominent lawyer and Managing Partner at Trent Legal Amansie Chambers, on 13 November 2023, officially announced his intention to vie for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidacy in the Bekwai Constituency parliamentary seat in the Ashanti Region during the upcoming December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

At the close of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) nominations in the Bekwai constituency in the Ashanti Region, four candidates successfully filed their nomination forms to contest the party’s 27 January 2024 parliamentary primaries.

The aspirants are; Ralph Poku-Adusei, Kingsley Opoku Agyemang, COP George Alex Mensah (Rtd) and Henry Opoku Ware. Two other candidates who picked up nomination forms were unable to file. They are Kwabena Nyame and Osei Owusu Afriyie.

The Bekwai seat is currently held by the NPP, and the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Joseph Osei Owusu (Joe Wise), has decided not to seek re-election after representing the constituency for sixteen years across four different parliamentary terms (2008 to 2024).
